There is something elemental about canopies; Architecture stripped of function, right down to simple shelter from sun and maybe rain.
This series of canopy sculptures evoke in me, strong feelings of place and invite us all to imagine activities and stories to go with them.
These images were created using Stable diffusion using the image to image facility with a hand sketch of mine as the source image. Text prompts included architectural references, Tadao Ando and Tom Kundig.
